Sky Trees explores the relationship between the sculptural canopy of trees and the infinite expanse of the sky. Inspired by his home landscape, CH draws specifically on Willie Howe Barrow,  a Neolithic round mound topped with trees, creating a work that bridges ancient landforms with contemporary sculptural expression.
 
The creation of Sky Trees began with hands-on experimentation, using everyday materials to prototype the form. Developing into a scaled plastiline model, then refined through a detailed digital illustration,  bridging traditional sculpting techniques with modern design processes.
 
The final piece features a highly polished mirrored surface, both visually captivating and technically complex. Achieving this flawless finish requires an intricate, time-intensive process through polishing, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship behind the work.
