Within the Trees is a limited-edition sculpture, produced in an edition of 9. Commissions are available upon request, including larger or smaller scale variations.

 

This work is an expression of a personal experience during his visit to Connecticut, USA, where he was surrounded and immersed in colossal pine trees. The scale and presence of the landscape left a lasting impression, which he sought to translate into a new sculptural iteration.

 

The creation of Within the Trees began with an iterative, hands-on process of molding and shaping a physical model. This form was then refined through digital technology and ultimately realised in mirrored stainless steel.

 

Achieving this level of mirroring is highly time-intensive and requires a high degree of technical skill. The mirrored surface not only reflects the surrounding environment but also incorporates the viewer, allowing them to become part of the sculpture itself.
